Earlier in October our Auckland students headed off for an “insides tour” at three of our sponsors projects.
First up was 396 Queen Street, with Russell Group, which is being refurbished from offices to the new ‘Four Points by Sheraton’. The students were lucky enough to see the soon to be hotel in a unique stage, with differing stages of the renovation on each floor! This made for a very exciting site visit!
Next was the New Zealand International Convention Center with AECOM & Fletchers, where we headed through a remarkable site, this will be a great project for the Keystone Family to follow on its journey through to completion.
Finally we went down to the Park Hyatt in the Wynyard Quarter with Hawkins. We looked at an in-depth presentation on the project, this was fantastic and gave the students a different perspective on a project under completion. We then went up onto the Gantry to take a look across the site.
