Welcome to our 2024 Scholarship recipients

November 20, 2023

Selecting the 2024 Study Awards, Key Partner Scholarships and Key School Leaver Scholarships recipients proved a challenging task for our scholarship committee due to the high calibre of applicants.  Our Study Award selection committee have been working hard, reading through the detailed applications sent in from all around the motu. These applications were refined down to 23 interviews and Study Award scholarship offers have been made to 13 deserving students.

Argosy, Fulton Hogan, Summerset and Kiwi Property have been welcomed as Key Partner Scholarships for 2024, and the C3 School Leaver Scholarship has also been offered again this year.  We were delighted to see another increase in applications from Māori rangatahi and young women with 54% of the Study Award intake identifying as female.

Amanda Stanes, General Manager of Keystone Trust says “Every year after our interviews I say that the cohort is the very best we have seen, and I will be saying the same for the 2024 cohort. It is an honour and privilege to engage with some incredible young people whose passion and enthusiasm for their future careers and the positive impact they wish to have on society is infectious.”

Thank you to the generous time and energy that the Scholarship Selection Committee have put towards this process – especially acknowledging Binty Bringans, Deidre Shea, Jeremy Hay, Kerin Russell-Smith and Tamati Parker.
