 The 2025 Keystone WT Scholarship applications are open now.

 ELIGIBILITY

  • New Zealand citizens or New Zealand permanent residents
  • Have successfully completed at least one year of course work by the end of 2024, in a property or construction-related tertiary qualification such as:
  • Bachelor of Architecture
  • Bachelor of Engineering
  • Bachelor of Property
  • Bachelor of Construction
  • Bachelor of Building Science
  • Have at least one more year of full time study to complete in 2025
  • Provide evidence of your financial situation (this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a student so understanding how this will support your budget is important to us to understand)
  • Any work experience offered would be based in the centres where WT has an office (Auckland/Wellington/Christchurch/Queenstown) and appropriate project work. Students would need to manage their own accommodation if they are not already based in that city.

 

VALUE

 The scholarship value of up to $5,500.00 per annum ($2,750 per semester), will be paid for each year in which the award applies and is to be used towards fees, course costs and accommodation as each semester commences. The scholarship is available for two semesters as determined by the Trustees and WT.

 SELECTION PANEL
In considering grants of awards the Trustees will be advised by a selection panel comprising representatives from Keystone Trust and representatives from WT.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Applications must be completed by the applicant on the prescribed online application form and be submitted by 5.00 pm, 1 August 2024.

The applicant may be invited to attend an interview with the selection panel. The selection panel will then make a recommendation to the Trustees as to the successful applicant, the amount of the scholarship and the terms and conditions of the scholarship.

DISCLAIMER
The Trustees will have the sole and unfettered discretion to grant the Scholarship and will determine in their discretion the scholarship to be offered to any successful applicant, and the amount and period of each scholarship, and the terms and conditions applying to each scholarship.

    The purpose of Keystone Trust is to support and enable students who are affected by financial challenges or difficult circumstances in their tertiary studies with the view to entering the property and construction sectors. To understand your needs, we need to establish your financial position, together with any other information you feel should be considered. Please provide any documentation that would support this section. Any information supplied in this section will remain confidential to the selection panel and may be subject to a verification request by the Trust before any award is made.
