Summerset is one of New Zealand’s leading retirement village operators and Architectural Design practices. Summerset’s mission is to bring the best of life to our residents from the services and care we deliver in our village for our residents, to the high-quality homes and facilities we build for them.

Summerset has 38 completed or developing villages in New Zealand and one in Victoria, Australia, with five more proposed villages in New Zealand and another six in Australia. Summerset Design works simultaneously across multiple sites. We deliver more than 650 homes a year, care centres that can provide hospital level care, award winning memory care facilities and world class village amenities including facilities for residents like gyms, indoor pools, cafes and more.

Sustainability is also a huge part of Summerset’s focus with major projects focusing on waste diversion, solar power, timber construction, carbon calculations and much more.

Summerset’s people and their wellbeing, health and safety is a key focus for the company. We remain committed to creating safe work environments for our people and ensuring that we are leaders in this area.
