Marcelle’s story: Exploring pathways for the future

May 26, 2026

Meet Marcelle Apulu, currently in her third year of a Bachelor of Engineering at University of Auckland. We sat down with Marcelle for a chat about her experience as a Keystone Trust student.

“Keystone has allowed me to meet people that I otherwise think I would’ve never had chances to meet. CEOs, people who started their own companies, project managers on huge developments. I would have no idea about these different pathways if it weren’t for Keystone.”

Hear Marcelle’s story as she moved from being a student at Auckland Girls’ Grammar School to studying for a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) at the University of Auckland and how a Keystone Trust scholarship is helping position her for her future career.
