Mentoring
One of the objectives of the Trust is to provide mentoring to the students.
A mentor can add rich value to a student’s education and the commitment is not too onerous. Regular contact can be by phone or email with just a few face to face meetings. You may like to have your student visit you at your workplace where they can see practical work in progress; they may require advice on what subjects to take, or where they can look for employment in their final year. They will benefit greatly from your skills and experience and motivational input. Whatever relationship you form with your student, it will be a satisfying one for both parties.
This is a very rewarding experience and if you would like to be involved in this capacity, please contact Barbara Sessions - see contact page for details
Details of the program will be sent to you.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Several of our current Keystone sponsors and associated companies have contributed to the trust by providing employment for our students. This can be in the form of Part Time Work – either during the academic year or throughout tertiary holidays. Many students have to fulfill a practical work component to complete their qualifications.
Many of our students have been placed in permanent positions within a company they started out with on work experience. This provides the company with the advantage of seeing how the student performs and the student can see on a practical level how the company operates.
By providing work experience for our students, whether it be part time work or full time employment, your company will be empowering the future industry leaders.
