The Keystone Trust Student Study SCHOLARSHIP 


2012 SCHOLARSHIPS CLOSED on 25 August AND  FIVE STUDENTs WERE AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS IN NOVEMBER. 

Applications for 2013 scholarships - revisit the website in may or june for the dates and download application papers then, or ask your careers advisor for one later in the year. each school is sent forms and posters - remember to discuss with your school careers advisor or hod later in the year. 

Eligibility

Applicants must be either New Zealand citizens or permanently residing in New Zealand.

Applicants must show a high level of academic ability and written communication skills, and be achieving at school at a level that demonstrates they will succeed at tertiary level.

Applicants must demonstrate a significant level of financial and/or circumstantial hardship to accord with the purposes of the award.

Students must intend enrolling at a tertiary institution in New Zealand to study a degree in a property related field, such as architecture, construction, engineering, planning, property management, real estate, quantity surveying, or valuation. 

Applications close in August or September of the year prior to year of scholarship, the date for 2013 will be announced later in the year and forms are available from about May or June each year.

Description

The value of each award is currently up to $5,000 per annum per student for a maximum period of three years with the option to extend further with the Trustees' approval. As such, The Keystone Study Award is one of the more significant study grants available to students, and the networking opportunities are of immense value.

The Keystone Coffey Projects

Property SCHOLARSHIP 2012

The 2013 applictions will be available in about June 2012.

 
Description

Applicants must have completed some years of course work and be in their final or penultimate year and have an interest in Project Management.  The recipient must use the Scholarship for study directly associated with the property industry in New Zealand. The qualification sought should fall within a recognised major discipline such as architecture, engineering, valuation, quantity surveying, property management, construction management or real estate.

The scholarship value of up to $5,000 per annum (as determined by the Trustees), will be paid for each year in which the award applies, toward fees and course costs and for accommodation twice per annum. The scholarship is available for up to two consecutive years as determined by the Trustees and Coffey Projects.

The Keystone Bayleys Property

Description

Applicants will be a Year 2 or 3 candidate studying for a Bachelor of Property or Bachelor of Property conjoint who intend to study full-time in the Department of Property at University of Auckland. One scholarship will be awarded annually, for a period of one year, and will be to the value of up to $5,000. Scholars awarded the scholarship in year 2 of their qualification may be awarded the scholarship for both years 2 and 3.

The Scholarship will be awarded upon the recommendation of a selection committee. The basis of selection will be academic merit as determined by Year 1 Bachelor of Property or Bachelor of Property conjoint results, as well as an obvious contribution to the local community.

The Keystone Westfield

Property Scholarship 2012

Description

Providing ongoing learning and challenge is a core value of Westfield who believe it is also a major factor in having a healthy property industry, one that can continue to attract and retain talented and motivated people. A healthy property industry then contributes to the economic and social well being of society at large.

The recipient of this scholarship must use the award for study directly associated with the New Zealand property industry. The qualification sought should fall within a recognised major discipline such as valuation or property management or commerce and marketing. Applicants who have successfully completed some years of course work and are in their penultimate or final year can apply for this scholarship.

The value of the scholarship will be up to $5,000 per annum (as determined by the Trustees) and will be paid for each year in which the award applies, toward fees and course costs and for accommodation as each term commences. The scholarship is available for up to two consecutive years as determined by the Trustees and Westfield Property Group.
